St Johns Medical Centre, part of Altrincham Healthcare Alliance Primary Care Network will in response to the coronavirus pandemic, contact eligible patients from late August to book a covid vaccination appointment with administration starting early September and throughout the winter period in line with anticipated covid vaccine deliveries. These will be provided separate to flu vaccinations. Eligibility criteria will be displayed here once NHS England have confirmed this. Please note: separate arrangements are made to vaccinate those patients who are housebound or live in a residential or nursing home.

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS DONE OUTSIDE OF THE UK – SEPTEMBER 2021
At the moment vaccines administered overseas cannot be recorded in the UK National Immunisation Management system (NIMS) This is the system used to show your vaccination status in the NHS app. Therefore any “overseas” vaccination certificate and request of a vaccination passport is not currently available from the NHS. This is not something specific to St Johns Medical Centre but to all practices in the UK. There are thousands of patients across the UK affected by this. The NHS app and NIMS system are both systems over which we have no control and cannot edit information. This issue is being worked on at a national level with an update expected but there is no confirmed date for this. We will update our website as we know more.
NHS COVID PASS AND TRAVEL
To demonstrate proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, patients can access the free NHS COVID Pass online, via the NHS App or by phone (calling 119) The pass is also available in other formats including audio, big print and Braille.
Please do not contact your GP surgery about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GPs cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status
