Patient Services

The GPs, nursing team and management are supported by the St Johns Patient Services Team, which comprises reception, prescribing, secretarial, data management and administration support personnel. The team will endeavour to assist you in a friendly and efficient manner, and will be happy to receive your enquiries:-

In person; if our reception staff are unable to help you immediately they will direct you to the appropriate member of staff to deal with your enquiry effectively.

By telephone; on 0161 928 5522, select Call Option 1 for appointments or administration issues, select Call Option 2 for prescription issues & select Call Option 3 to cancel an appointment . Reception support is available throughout the surgery’s opening hours; administration support is available between 8am & 4pm. If you call after 4pm, your call will be diverted to the reception team who will take a message for you.

If your enquiry is not urgent it would help us if you could call the surgery after 10am if possible, to keep the telephone lines free for urgent appointments and messages.

By letter, fax or email; please include your full name, address and date of birth on any correspondence to ensure we can identify your records quickly and deal with your enquiry promptly. We have dedicated email addresses for the prescriptions, secretarial & administration teams, and contacting us by email will help to keep the telephone lines free.
